Recently the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced the finalists for the NAB Marconi Radio Awards honoring radio stations and on-air personalities for excellence in broadcasting. This year's winners will be announced on September 18 at the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show held during The NAB Radio Show at the Austin Convention Center. After two years of being nominated, but ultimately failing to win the Sports Station of the Year, the folks over at KFAN-1130 had to be thinking that 2008 was their year to bring home the hardware.
